I have experienced quite a bit during the last thirteen years in the skin care industry. I worked in a fast paced salon, then a high scale surgeon's office environment and lastly I ventured off on my own and ran every aspect of my own skincare studio business in Palm Desert, CA for since 2016. The last seven years, however, have allowed me to gain some insight to the many ways that self employed beauty professionals can allow the business to run us, instead of the opposite happening. I decided to pivot in my career after dealing with crippling body pain from horrible posture practices, to- not become a Youtube influencer or a podcaster, (although the later would be nice someday) but to start creating brief blog posts about my experience in my business and a business concept around how I may help you -the beauty professional along your journey in entrepreneurship. New beginnings After moving out of the California desert, I decided that this was a great opportunity to explore a new aspect of the beauty industry.
